Apple News Problems

Hello,

Running Sonoma on desktop imac.

About a yr ago, Apple News was apparently installed on my
imac without permissions.

Anyone here using ?

Causing all sorts of problemsl.

I can't, surprisingly, find any way of Trashing it, or Deleting it.
Nothing seems to work.

Might someone please suggest how I can permanently get rid of it.

Think the answer is no because it is a default app, but see this thread.
