Apple not accepting my payment info?

Hey,
So when I log into my apple account and try to update my payment info, it tells me that my credit card does not match my bank records. I have double checked my bank records and everything matches perfectly. I have also tried 2 different cards and it gives me the same error. I'm trying to update my OS to mountain lion but cannot purchase the update until my payment info is up to date..... any suggestions on how to fix this error? Thanks!

Also, others seems to be having the same problem and cannot purchase apps or updates. Your help is appreciated.

Do you have your middle initial on your card? I do and it's frustrating because it doesn't work on a lot of websites.

I do have a middle initial on my cards, but it has never stopped me from using them online before, even when I don't put the middle initial into whatever site I'm using it doesn't make a difference. I will try it though and see if it helps.
