After work today I stopped by the AT&T store across the street from my office, which is also the location I plan on buying the iPhone tomorrow. I was asking the store manager different iPhone questions: How many are they getting in, are they expecting a large crowd, etc. I was basically just trying to gage what time I should head down to stand in line. To every question I had, he said, "I can't tell you that information". I tried several times to get an answer before he finally said he is not allowed to say ANYTHING other than that the iPhone is available tomorrow at 6PM or else he could lose his job, as per strict rules from Apple. I was suprised that such insignificant information had to be kept so close to the vest. He couldn't even tell me how many people have come in who were interested in buying. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
