So I ordered my MBP 17" matte 1920res via uk store. The order has been shipped but my credit card has not been charged yet....is this normal?

I would of thought they'd take the payment by now.

You will not be charged until it is ready to ship. This is Apple's SOP.

In my experience from the USA store is that they will charge when they ship.
Also they don't accept Credit Cards that aren't issued in the USA.

I wonder how that works in the UK and the European Union?
