To be fair the base iPad mini has been $399 fairly regularly at Amazon and Best Buy.

Including right at this moment (10:30pm EST 2/9) at Best Buy
And in-store at Micro Center, but this might be appealing to someone with Apple gift cards and on the fence about buying a mini 6.

I don’t see any refurbished iPad mini 6..

If anyone considering a refurbished iPad mini 6, but worried about Jelly Scroll,
It's not real. I never notice it even in slow motion...

I daily drive it and scroll quite a bit in both orientations.
Really? I got my Mini 6 and within the first minute I noticed it. Granted I was curious and was looking for it. It's there (for me) but it does not bother me in the least. Honesty if there was not news about it I would have thought this was the way it should scroll as it is that subtle.

While I'm happy with my 2018 11" iPad Pro, the size of the mini still intrigues me. Might be tempted if Apple ever fix the scaling.
I thought the same as I have my 2020 iPad Pro 11" and after I got my Mini my 11" gets little to no love anymore. The Mini really is the perfect size IMO. I now use my 11" as a sidecar monitor for my MacBook to watch videos and play music while I use my laptop. The Mini comes with me just about everywhere (of course with Apple Pencil).

Not that good of a deal for 11 inch iPad m1

They were on sale $550 at target over the holidays a couple of times.

I got m2 iPad at military store sale in December for $599 as well.
Considering many discount places are out of stock by now of the M1 iPad, and sales like that on the pro come a dime a dozen depending on old stock availability when the newest model is out… it’s actually a good deal. And you can’t compare a military discount and act like everyone else has the same ability to get that.

Not great pricing on iPad Pros. Similar prices can be had on new ones during sale.
Yeah? Where do you regularly see the M2 11” for $160 off? Yup, I’ll wait. I Love people that see one major sale a year and think all other regular deals are crap.
