Apple now shows shipping 10/12-19 - anyone else waiting

One can hope.... I asked Siri to set an alarm for 3am and it didn't trigger till 5... have the same 12-19 ship date.
I unfortunately slept through my alarm and didn't order from Apple before 3:10 AM EST, meaning (apparently) I'm now getting it within the "wave 2", or 10/12 - 10/19. Similar to prior years, I'd expect it to ship closer to 9/21. As others have noted, Apple tends to make up for lost time and beating these launch shipping estimates by re-allocating inventory.
I'm in the same boat, decided to not go with the hype, and take a chance, but instead enjoyed my sleep, and am now on the 10/12 - 10/19 cycle. For me, whether it's early or late, it's sort of like having a child, it will be here "when it's ready".. LOL
Oct. 12-19 ETA for my aluminum 44mm Space Gray GPS+Cellular, pre-ordered at 4:35am EST.
Based upon past pre-order experiences, I'm comfortable waiting this out - and wouldn't be too surprised if it happens to appear on Sept. 21st launch date, or quite soon thereafter.

I'll be waiting as well. I'm hoping to grab a Space Black when they hit the stores. This will be a first apple watch purchase for me and with the new sizes I want to try it out in the store.
Don't want to commit to buying both sizes with a total of around $1600 as a first purchase - when I'll be returning to the store anyway; I'd rather just go there fore a purchase to begin with.

I preordered yesterday (9/14) 2 SS watches. There was no option for in store pickup at any of the 10 or so stores within 60 miles of me. Delivery is showing 10/12 - 10/19. I have my fingers crossed that delivery date will get updated in my favor over the next few day’s. I’d love for the watches to come next Friday!!
Does anyone know when they will actually get these in stores as well? Assuming they have them in stores by the end of the month is that going to be all models, or do we risk some of the SS models being out of stock from the get go?
