Apple Once Prototyped a Mac Mini With an iPod Dock

I loved my 1st gen iPod nano, but my girlfriend at the time tripped while jogging and broke it, in front of my eyes! I threw it out, as it was cactus, but a few years later, Apple had a returns policy for some defect that you could get an updated model. Got screwed twice

You made this up. Apple would never eliminate a cable. Especially back then, when Apple was mainly a cable and dongle company.
