After paying for warranties for Apple products for years, my M4 IPad Pro started to have issues and I was approved for a replacement. After 5 calls and 2 chats, I’m informed that my configuration of IPad is backordered. They took the liberty of sending me an iPad in Silver which I do not want. If I don’t want Silver they will get it to me “possibly” in a few weeks. The experience has been atrocious. I’ve been abandoned on hold, hung up on and told repeatedly that it’s someone else who deals with this. They currently have a 1600 hold on my card. I’m still paying for the IPad. It’s sad what’s happened to Apple warranties and customer service. That’s what brought me in as a customer and what will make me leave. I can get a Galaxy and get crappy service and hung up on. Not sure what the language is on the contract but it’s a major let down. Not sure how many people have experienced this but I don’t pay money every month to get treated badly or ghosted when I finally use the warranty. Curious if anyone else has had this experience.
