Hi -

Simple question and needed some help; I have signed up for Apple One Family - getting 200 GB of iCloud storage. Now can I sign up for extra 200 GB as well; 400 GB is good enough for my family usage and don't really need 1TB of space.

Any clues ? thanks

Yes you can. The iCloud storage purchases are independent of what you get from the One bundles. You can pay the extra 2.99 a month to get 400GB total storage.

How did you manage to do that? I've been trying to make sens of apple support pages in regards "increasing" the storage but I cannot figure it out.
I unfortunately have two apple ID. One that is my icloud etc and one for my payments.

When I sub to apple one, it tells me that my icloud storage will be used with my payment email. So if I try to upgrade the 200gb, it works but I only get 2TB. So at the moment i'm "losing" 200gb from the family plan and can't figure out why..

If anyone has an idea!
Thanks!

So I signed up for One, and already had a 200GB iCloud plan. I still only have 200GB, when I go into iCloud storage it's telling me, it will cancel the One plan and use the new plan. It's not adding for 400GB. I do have an account for iCloud storage, and one for payments. In the One settings, I applied the One storage to my iCloud account. Looks like a bug if you have two accounts it won't add the storage together, you have one or the other, but not both plans at the same time.

Yeah, this is exactly the Issue i'm facing... I would find it strange that people who have 2 ID's get less possibilities than those with one but it seems to be like that for now. In my case i'm "losing" 200gb (upgraded to 2TB) currently.

Has anyone resolved this problem? I have been on the phone with Apple support for hours and nobody understands what I want. Looking to have a total of 400GB shared in the family, but it only seems to allow me to have the 200GB provided with Apple One. Let me know if you’ve found a fix! Thanks
