I've been trying to exchange a 6s for 6s+ and every morning at 8am I get online to reserve and no inventory. The Apple sales people at the store claim they get some of every carrier every morning but I am not seeing that. Anybody else having similar experience?

Other people have said they see inventory coming in later in the day. Which you would expect if say, they get a UPS shipment around 9 or 9:30. I think 8am is too early.

pretty much doing the same thing since saturday, and there has been no stock updates since monday which is pretty strange... (at least for att). tmobile is fully stocked for the 6S but every carrier is out of the plus. Just don't want to run out of the exchange period :\
i'm trying to go the other way from 6splus to 6s and there hasn't been any 6s in rose gold or space grey

Agreed, ATT inventory sucks..Other carriers have what I want but not mine:(

BTW is the 6s+ just too big?

i posted this on another post. i had both the plus and regular size last year and loved each for their own respective reasons. on the plus, OIS makes a very slight difference in low light shots (nothing noticeable tbh) but i loved the way you could frame photos on a larger screen. i travel frequently and the better battery life and screen size for reading on flights was what i loved about it. but the smaller size was just so much more pocketable and convenient for everyday usage and i love that i can customize it with cool cases whereas the bigger phone is just made even bigger with a case.

but now that i have the 6S+ regardless of what others say, it def feels heavier and less manageable for me. also, i find myself not even using 3D touch for shortcuts because it's hard to maneuver with one handed usage, and even new ios multitasking tricks like the "go back to" option that appears on the top left side, i never use just because i can't reach it.

i always recommend my friends who are debating between the plus and regular size to try the plus first (because the plus is always the one that sells out fastest) and see if you can manage it, if you can't then downsize to the regular size because that one is more easily available.

Are you on Next? I want to exchange mine for greater storage but I am worried how AT&T handles the eligibility.
If I return it at Best Buy and want to buy another model at the same time, will it handle the eligibility correctly?

I'm not on next, but my sister is. if you exchange it, it should reset your eligibility right away. just make sure you the best buy mobile employee who you're working with knows what they're doing.

If you are just exchanging at the same location you won't have a problem, now if you return at BB and then buy from Apple store you might run into a delay.

^True, I checked at 8am and only the Manhattan Beach store had a 64GB SG Verizon. Someone snagged it before I completed the reservation. I had istocknow.com up and kept hitting the 'refresh' button and my local store (walking distance) got some around noon and I was able to make a reservation for 30 minutes later and pick it up.

I highly recommend istocknow.com (no affiliation) since it's easier than constantly re-entering info on the Apple site.

As I posted in 2 similar threads, last 2 cycles Apple updated their inventory at 10pm ET. That's why so many folks were on the site at that time. YMMV this year. If indeed they do update at 10pmET,by 8am,believe me,whatever inventory will be long gone.
