Actually I was wrong about that. They only suspend payments when the new phone ships. Sorry for the incorrect info.

Yeah that really sucks so IUP customer whos phone shipped for the 20th delivery don't have to make this extra payment for it but I do? hope it applies towards the new loan. If not, anybody have any luck reversing this? I dont mind waiting the extra week to receive the phone, but quite a bit peeved if paying an extra $65 because of it.
Agreed, that's what has me annoyed...I will wait an extra week no problem, but why should I have to pay more? I had the same experience others have had....was in right as the pre-orders opened, had a pre-approved loan, still got bumped from release day delivery and now it costs me extra.
I am highly considering paying it off and selling it myself. No reason Apple should have a free payment.
that being said, if I am able to grab one in store tomorrow, or order for pick up Saturday, does anyone know how it works in regards to canceling the iPhone upgrade shipment? Curious what happens for both- if the phone ships at that point or if it still processing.
Any downside to that? How does the loan program work if it ships vs if it doesn’t ship
Not here yet. Guessing we will start seeing this in a day or two. My watch got moved up so there is hope.
Nothing for me other than the email reminding me of my payment for Citizen. They green progress bar has gotten longer on the order page but I’m still showing a 10/1-10/4 delivery date which is incredibly ridiculous since I was on at 8am trying to get an order through.

Same here. Kinda surprised by the lack of post-launch delivery movement. I remember seeing in recent years plenty of folks getting bumped up to launch day. Maybe Apple has just gotten really good at estimating their inventory levels.
There's still tonight! Maybe they're all just chilling in the states already... (Loses hope)
9/27-10/1 delivery date here. Just tracked by reference and my phone is awaiting customs clearance in China!!
Whoa what are the specs on your phone, what did you use as a reference number, and have you seen a charge on your credit card?
256gb 11pro space gray and I used the order number without the last 2 numbers. I have not seen the full charge yet just pending charge for taxes
That’d awesome. Charging for part of it is first step at movement. I ordered same as you but not showing anything on my end or card just yet. But this is hopeful for delivery early next week!
Same specs as mine. No pending charge for me yet and I have a delivery date of 10/1-10/4 so I doubt I’ll see anything soon.
I did the same (track by reference, order number without last 2 digits) and got someone else’s shipment. Just make sure destination city is correct.
I logged in to my CitizenOne account and saw that my old loan for my XS had a 'Next Payment Due' of $0.00. This payment is normally deducted on the 27th of each month (i.e. my earliest delivery date) and usually indicates the amount of the payment that is due. It's odd to me that it is zero'ed out.
Next, I now have a 2nd loan in my account. The balance due is for the amount of the new iPhone 11 Pro with the first scheduled payment date of October 13th.

So, it seems that they have zero'ed out my old account and started my new account and my iPhone 11 Pro has not yet even shipped!
I have not yet been charged the initial amount either. I think we might be ok...
Last year same thing happened to me ,I did get charged for the old phone but a week later when the new phone came they actually credited me the amount for the old phone payment so I didn’t pay for that last month , surprised me cause I figured they set it up like that on purpose with the release dates to get the extra month payment outta people before they closed the old phone account out
