It’s weird to have a photos app video in the memoji article, but I will comment anyway…

I detest the photos app. As a result, I almost never use the camera and, if I do, I move the photos over to a computer as soon as possible. I don’t want Apple creating a database of what is in my photos, I don’t want them doing facial recognition, and I don’t want them trying to organize my photos or make ridiculous little movies from them. Apple should let me turn these features off.

I knew ya'll would go off on this and I was not wrong.
LOL. You actually didn’t expect otherwise based on how rediculous this is. Apple has “jumped the shark” as they say. But they did make me chuckle. I did enjoy Phil’s alternate reality of himself.

I might have bought an iPhone X if not for Animoji. It is the single most annoying cell phone development in my opinion. And it made it very difficult to for me to spend $1000 on what was being marketed as a toy for a 13 year old.

Instead I bought an iPhone 8 for about $450 less, $650 less with my cash back credit deal. I'm not disappointed.

I actually like the Home Button and I'm a safer driver without Face ID. With 3 cars in the family, I sometimes still have to blindly touch my iPhone to activate it for directions by voice or other things.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Apple's memojis make fun of people with Down Syndrome? For shame, Apple.
No - that's diversity.
So now we have 12 uniformly diverse clowns on the Board (subtitled: "The Frantic Mac killers")

Ok, now it's official.
There's no more real people working on Apple.
I'm glad they are having more fun then creating bug free soft & hardware.

Bad taste in my opinion, but this is how it looks a lot today unfortunately.

I'm getting the Samsung ad version of Jony

(just a joke, lest someone is offended)

OMG why is his headshot not done in blue, grey, and white flat design? OMG OMG! Does J-Ive know this???

How can he allow it? Heads will be rolling I bet if he finds out!!!!!!

OMG the 3-D effects and skeumorphic representations of actual heads!!! Shouldn't these be squares or something different since users don't need things to look like real things anymore, for using things????

I feel sick. This is what Apple has become. A pathetic characature of a once great company.

I wish my power of emotion was that great I was sickened by a light-hearted social media stunt.

People on here never cease to amaze me - this is a luxury first world product company - you expecting them to save the world or something ?

It seems impossible to make one of these memojis for anyone that is older than 15 years old. It's also interesting that what is maybe the most popular type of hat worn by men in the USA (baseball cap) is missing, but there are several more 'diverse', yet much less popular styles of hats available. Is Apple trying to make a statement that older white males are not the target market?
