I like the donut building but that landscaping is really poor. Way too geometric for an English garden.

My guess? They have fruit trees, and they could be spaced evenly for optimum growth, watering, sunshine exposure and harvesting. The other trees are spaced more randomly, so there must be a reason why some are geometric and others aren’t.

That’s some impressive footage and a likewise non impressive comment section.
Are those a whole lot of solar panels?
Is that tunnel the access to the building with a car park under it?
It’s both futuristic and old school: it seems like it could have been a eighties project.

Looks claustrophobic. Stand in that park, no matter where you turn there they are.

Gives me the willies.

Also, standing looking at that hideous rainbow crap would probably do the trick. LET ME OUT!!!! :D

Wow, this building is bigger than I was thinking. Is there a shuttle on the inside to take you to the other side of the building? Typical Apple – looks over function.

All the money in the world, and they can't keep the grass alive in front of the stage? Looks a lot like my backyard lawn.

It's a circle...is there a "side"?

It’s when those topiary animals begin moving towards you...

While Apple Park was being constructed, drone pilots like Duncan Sinfield followed Apple's progress on the buildings and landscaping, allowing us to see the campus as work progressed.

Apple Park has been done for some time now and drone videos have largely stopped, but Duncan Sinfield stopped by Apple Park this morning and captured a great-looking drone video that we thought we'd share with MacRumors readers.

The main ring-shaped building has all of its completed landscaping, and the video also shows off auxiliary buildings like the Steve Jobs Theater and on-campus parking structures. Hundreds of trees cover the interior and exterior of the ring-shaped building, and there's a large central pond. Everything is looking lush and green thanks to heavy rains in the Bay Area over the course of the last few months.

Of particular interest is an event stage with a rainbow arch and multiple lights that's located right in the middle of the campus. It's not clear what this is for, but it's likely an upcoming employee-only concert event of some sort, as visitors to the site aren't allowed onto the campus.

There's no word right now on what the event might be, but Apple often hosts beer bashes and other employee events at Apple Park. The Apple Park Visitor's Center is closed on Friday, May 17, so that may be when the event is set to take place.

[doublepost=1557359222][/doublepost]There is a beer bash this Friday. No doubt they set up for a band to play.

Looks like CGI to me.

Watch the people walking and the cars - the motion doesn't look right.

I will be visiting this Apple Park Campus later this year. Can anyone who has already been there tell me what you are allowed to Visit/see and what not? I know they have a Visitor Center Store but beyond that, anything else?
TIA
Visitor center ONLY.... i planned one day to visit the apple park last year, finally i spent 15 min. to walk around and another 15 min. for a cup coffee.

Wouldn't be surprised if the boss of the company that supplied all the solar panels bathes daily in a bathtub full of £50 notes!! How much must that little lot be worth?!

It's a tree nursery. They decided they would grow most of their own trees from saplings rather than buy them in. So the regularly spaced trees are just plantations which will be redistributed when they reach the appropriate size and the campus is ready to accommodate them. There's a video/article about this somewhere. I think it's a great idea - thinking ahead. Because of the size of Apple Park the alternative would have been to clean out local nurseries and bring great quantities of mature trees long distances, which is obviously not very eco friendly.

Well, your own position (coordinates) are marking a point at this ring (circle) – an other person may mark an other position, maybe the opposite (diameter) … this might be named as "other side" : )

Which they did, and there was plenty of criticism about it at the time. If you still want to believe that Apple grew those trees themselves: The Campus isn't old enough to have naturally grown trees of the size that you can see in the video. Just plant one yourself and spend the next couple of decades watching it grow very slowly.

Yep, pretty much the whole roof area is covered with solar panels.

If you mean the two joined three and five-lane tunnels, they are primarily there to cover the access road to the two big parking structures on the southern end of the property for people arriving from the West. This access road would otherwise get too close to the main building. But it also provides access to the parking garage below the main building (if you look closely, there are two left-turning lanes at the western end of the tunnel, those are used to get into the main building parking garage).

the rainbow arch is awesome. It bring out the attention ... no one looks at his big the campus is, they center their eyes on the arch

Rainbows were just colorful rainbows, and duh, part of the original Apple logo, before it meant anything about orientation.

Ya, but i dunno where else to look at this point.. The Apple logo, was just a logo, and nothing more of rainbow colors...

This is just one big circle with a rainbow in the center.

Pretty amazing campus.
Yeah, but from what I am finding out, all you can go to and see is the Visitor's Center which is not much more than a glorified Apple Store, and a cafe. You cannot see the architectural wonder since it's blocked by huge tress nor visit it. What a waste.
