Show set in Philly is buying pizza for viewers in LA? Wat?
Didn't know it got picked up for #3!Thought season 1 was better, but yes it's the best show on Apple TV+ and I still enjoyed the second season. They've already starting shooting season 3.
This is exactly how I feel. Wife and I are only on episode 6 of season 2 and we keep watching only for the payoff. Otherwise we both think it has become silly. I just read that they are filming season 3... I was really hoping it would end with season 2 so I could be done with it. I might just skip season 3 and read about how it all ends.I loved the first season but now it’s too much nonsense to suspend disbelief...
Seriously this is the most narrow promotion in the history of the world. Someone in marketing must be friends with the owners.2 local restaurants give away free pizza to promote a series owned by a multi billion company streaming worldwide? Ok.
Same here too. Just watched the season 2 finale and still waiting for a payoff. I think we got one but it sure doesn't feel like it.This is exactly how I feel. If you're ever craving an authentic NY pie and are willing to drive to the Valley, I highly recommend Jerry's Pizza in Canoga Park.Gjelina's Pizza is probably one of the better pizza joints in L.A. / Venice. I've traveled 45 minutes into the depths of the heaviest of LA traffic just to pick up a pie or two. Well worth it.
Outside my kitchen window I see Europe, Asia and Africa. That is what I get from my local and international streaming services. On Apple TV I see California and Israel. Your comment about the content not being “any more non-international” is just plain wrong.Yeah, well, then you basically just wrote something that was out of context and only worked in reference to stuff going on in your own head.
To be fair to Apple, it's rather that Apple TV doesn't appeal to most people. The content isn't any more non-international than anything else. Outside the US people are used to watching tv produced for lots of different regions, and don't need material tailored specifically to what they see outside their kitchen window.
