Likewise, twice we had a credit or debit card compromised... and the only common event that we could think of, was using them at a nearby full service laundry the day before. We only use cash there now :)

Interesting. Mint has been my alert source several times as well. I monitor with it almost daily.

It's really nice to be able to check all my accounts at once, although there'll be hell to pay if Mint ever gets hacked !!

Yeah I've had 6 new cards and finally it hit me that it must be this place. Wish Apple Pay was universally accepted.

You're going to have to delete the cards anyway, and re-enroll as soon as you get new cards.

Not necessarily...I recently had a card replaced and the last four digits of the new card automatically showed up in Passbook. I was actually using it with Apple Pay before receiving the replacement card in the mail.

Interesting thread. I also recently had fraud on two of my cards within a one month period. Only connection was Apple Pay. It's hard to believe it's related to AP, but also hard to ignore. Replaced both cards and both back in Apple Pay. We'll see what happens.

Which card issuer was this?

This was a Navy Federal debit card. I replaced the card because the mag stripe was failing, not because of fraud. I don't know if a credit account would act differently within Apple Pay.

Thanks for this information. I find it very interesting that the last four digits of the card would be automatically updated in Passbook to reflect those found on the replacement card without any action on your part. I'll see if this happens with my credit cards when I get replacement cards in the future.

I had the same thing happen. Chase replaced my card because of fraud and the new card automatically showed up in Apple Pay. Seemed pretty interesting.
