Uses the Open Banking protocol - i.e. with NatWest you can see transactions that have taken place e.g. cheque paid in without logging into the app.

With participating card issuers, you can connect your account to Wallet (available with iOS 17.1 or later). When your account is connected, you can use Wallet to see a more comprehensive view of your account details, such as your current balance and full transaction history.

In Wallet, tap the card.

Tap Get Started and follow the onscreen instructions to connect your account.

Honestly not for me! Been missing for years and only just seen it again this week. I’m using it regularly too.

I wish they’d start using NFC like some other loyalty cards though.

I’ve got a couple of my banks connected there. Works fine.
