Apple Pay doesn’t seem to work on my iPhone 11 pro max.

I’ve re-out of the bank and deleted it signed out of iCloud and signed in. Restarted and no dice. Doesn’t want to work. Went to 3 different apply pay machines and it doesn’t work.

Used my watch, anywhere. On those same machines. Worked perfectly.
 
Has it ever worked? I’d say that warrants an appointment with Apple Support.

Don’t have one nearby, it’s an hour and I don’t drive. Thought it may have been an iOS13 issue as it wasn’t working with my 8 Plus either before I got my 11 Pro
 
Issue that I have had twice is, I sent my brother money and it took it out twice but he only got it once. One was for $2000 and one for $1500.

You don’t have to go in. You can schedule a phone appointment, and they’ll walk you through some stuff and figure out whether it needs to be replaced, which can be done via mail.
But you could also use Best Buy’s Apple support, if you’re near one.

But it’s extremely weird that you’ve had the same issue on two different phones. As far as I’m aware, there haven’t been any Apple Pay issues in iOS 13, any iteration.

Already tried that. They told me to basically go in, cause I’d be without a phone for almost a week or two.Went to Best Buy they said it was a 3 week turn around time because they basically do the same thing and send it off to Apple. Not sure why it’s a 3 week thing but it is apparently even though Apple mail in is 2 max.
 
Oh, that’s weird and not okay, but it sounds like you have no choice.

the good thing is that it is working on the Watch, so you don’t have to go in immediately. Still sucks, though.

I had this problem with my 6+. The nfc chip was faulty so they replaced my phone.

If you have apple pay working on the apple watch, I wouldn’t worry too much about the phone not working for in-store purchases...you can live with that and using the watch is actually more convenient than using the phone (I actually use the watch most of the time, with the only place where I really have to use the phone being the car dealership where I take my car in for service, since they have the cashier behind a window that makes it almost impossible to use the watch but does have enough room to slide the phone under it and hold it near the payment terminal). Besides, I’m sure apple pay on your iphone would still work for online purchases in apps or on websites, since those payments aren’t transmitted using the NFC chip, so you can simply use the iphone for online payments and the watch for in-store purchases.

It’s not that bad. Apple Pay should still work on the iphone for online/in-app purchases, since that doesn’t use NFC. Besides, at physical locations using the watch is more convenient that using the phone anyway (in fact I very rarely if ever at all use the phone for apple pay at physical locations, especially since watchOS 5 enabled the recent transaction list and push notifications for purchases made using the apple watch)
