Apple Pay on Watch passes/reloadable Store cards

Just curious if the cards such as Starbucks and Dunkin donuts can be added to a be Watch. I can’t seem to find how to do that his, if possible.

If you have the Starbucks card in Wallet on the phone, it should transfer to the watch too. But in my experience it is difficult to scan the barcode from the watch at the register.
