I returned my iPhone X that I purchased online with Apple Pay. I returned to a store and I was issued a refund but I’m concerned whether the refund went thru because I gave the guy the card that’s associated with my Apple Pay to refund back to but I was told Today that Apple Pay transactions can only be refunded via this method and I have to authorise with my finger print like when I purchased. He gave me a receipt both paper and one sent to my email but the receipt does not show that the refund was sent to my card it just says refunded to original tender. Is this normal. It shows on my Apple account that the refund is complete but I’m just concerned that it went thru ok because he did not refund through Apple Pay. It’s really worrying for such a large amount of money. I’ve never returned anything to Apple before
