Resolved Apple Pay + RFID Cards

I keep an RF card for building access in my iPhone's wallet case and I used to be able to just hold my 5S up to the reader to open it, but whenever I hold up my 6S+ to the reader it must energize the NFC coil and prevents my card from communicating. In short, are there any workarounds for this, like preventing Apple Pay from being activated from the lock screen? Thanks!

I noticed this with my 6 as well, but haven't tried it with my 6s+ yet. My guess would be due to ApplePay but I'm not sure how to prevent it short of completely disabling ApplePay, though even that may not help.

I don't think so. The chip is always active.
