Apple Pay, Target app and Discover Card

so, I am trying to make a purchase using the Target app, and the Discover Card to get 10% cashback bonus and it says that Discover card is not available for in app payments. does anyone have any idea how to make Discover Card available for in app payments?

I don't know why the card doesn't work, but you wouldn't get the 10% anyway. It's only for in-store purchases (see here).

Yea I think you might have misread the information (this topic has created some pretty long conversation over at Slickdeals). You can only use it IN STORE, as in go into a physical store and actually use the Apple Pay. No ifs and buts about it. It was Discover's intension from the beginning that this is a promotion with Apple Pay NFC contactless payment.
