Apple Pay Apple Pay will not accept my cards

I had problems downloading update iOS26.5 about 10 days ago , download would never complete and Apple Pay refused to work until updates finished ! So now , my 3 bank cards work on my Macbook but will not be added to iPhone no matter what ! Error message is 'Apple Pay cannot add to Wallet , try again later !
Anyone know what's going on ? None of the cards is blocked or nearly expired so I'm lost for a solution
