Apple pencil 2 tip any different from gen 1?

I think i have read that somewhere but couldnt find any solid information about it. Has the tip changed in any way at all?

The tip is the same. I purchased extra tips when I had the first generation Apple Pencil, and they work on my generation 2 Apple Pencil as well.

The pencil 2 is significantly less plastic-y--more rubber-ish. It has a very nice drag now.
Try it in a store. Shocked people have not posted about this
