Amazon is continuing to introduce new record low prices across Apple's product lineup, today knocking the price of the second-generation Apple Pencil down to $89.00, from $129.00 [UPDATE: Sold Out]. As of writing, Amazon is the only major Apple reseller with this sale.

This is a match of the best price we've ever tracked on the Apple Pencil 2. The accessory has a delivery window between November 28 and November 30 right now, with the typical faster options available for Amazon Prime members.

The Apple Pencil 2 is compatible with the following iPads: iPad mini (6th generation), iPad Air (4th generation and later), 12.9-inch iPad Pro (3rd generation and later), and 11-inch iPad Pro (1st generation and later). The second generation Apple Pencil can also magnetically attach and pair to the iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPad Air.

30% off is a great discount for an Apple product! So excited to finally pick one of these up.

Anyone recommend any good painting/drawing apps?

The proper setup is iPad + Pencil...screw the keyboard. Attaching a keyboard to an iPad is why some people question is it better to get a MacBook instead. If the iPad is connected to a keyboard 90% of the time get a laptop.

Pencil + new 12.9" iPad Pro is great. Hover(ing) with my Pencil is the proper way to use an iPad.

If this was compatible with iPhone, they would have at least one extra sale here and I’m sure many more elsewhere.

Beware with high discounted Apple items from Amazon. Amazon is reselling returned Apple items and are not doing a good job of inspecting if they are resealable. I purchased a MagSafe wallet and the Amazon description never mentioned it was renewed. It was in bad shape all scratched up. I just saw one of the reviews for the Apple Pencil 2 in Amazon selling for 89.99 and they received screws. Since they have horrible customer service they make you wait longer to get credit for Apple products. Their explanation that Apple requires special processing of returns.

Procreate is good. It has a nice feature...draw then hold and it straightens/smoothes the line/circle/square/etc...layers are easy to work with

Adobe Photoshop and Fresco are good. Fresco has the "draw then hold" for line only. Photoshop does not.

I have a new 12.9" iPad Pro. The Pencil can be used almost everywhere. For drawing, writing, picking, scrolling, swipe-typing.

Touch the screen with the Pencil when it is off and it starts in Apple Notes mode.

Swipe from the left bottom corner and it takes a screen shot.

The only annoyance using a Pencil is it defaults to the small keyboard. I haven't found a way to switch back-and-forth between the small and large keyboard. The large keyboard pops-up when fingers touch the screen.

The hover feature is amazing. I agree, screw the keyboard. I recently tried the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11” and the whole setup is so frigging heavy and it’s cramped.

the price fluctuates. It was at the sale price last night. This morning it was regular price. Then about 2 hours ago it was at the sale price again

Waiting for 30% discount on the Apple Studio Display. Not going to pay $2000 (with the height adjustable stand) for that thing.

Costco usually carries the height adjustable one for $1599. I doubt you will do any better than that any time soon.

I paid full price for mine and have no regrets. There's nothing quite like it on the market. It is too expensive, but it's a quality item and, well, sometimes you just have to pay the Apple tax.
