Is your apple pencil charging slower with the usb adapter than when conecting it directly to the ipad?

Mine appears to be charging at the same speed or faster. This is with the USB plugged into my iMac or my iPad charging brick.

Thx! Maybe my adapter is not defective after all.

it shouldn't be. Providing the brick it's plugged into van supply as much power.

I haven't read any manuals yet. Where can we see the battery percentage

Mm. Battery widget duh

Thx! Maybe my adapter is not defective after all.

Mine was at 30% and went to 100% super fast charging over usb

I'm not sure hat the specked charge time is but it felt under half an hour to go 70%

I just put it on my ever dock duo which is fed from an anker five port adapter which puts out max requested.

My guess is you want to use the iPad wall plug not an iPhone or other. Seems to charge very very fast, actually quite a relief to see it go that quickly

I also noticed that charging it with my iPhone charger and adapter that is was horrifically slow, and from the iPad Pro (9.7) that is was really really fast...

I'll try it with the iPad Pro charger and adapter and see if that affects anything...

Anyone figured out what's going on here? I just tried charging it with a cable directly connected to my MBP Touch 15", which should provide plenty of juice, and it charged maybe 1% in 15 minutes. Plugged it directly into my iPad and it jumped more than 15% in about a minute. This is very counterintuitive and almost seems like a bug.
