iPad Pro Apple Pencil Tilt stops working

I find that after a while the Tilt detection in the Apple Pencil stops working. It's obvious when I select the highlighter in the notes app and the tilt doesn't work so it appears as a thin line. I have to unscrew the tip and rescrew it to fix it. It's getting annoying and I'm 99% sure it's hardware and not software. Should I make a genius appointment?

Have you tried unpairing and then repairing the penci? I have not experienced this issue at all.

Yeah given that you explain when you unscrew and rescrew the tip to fix, it sounds like some sort of hardware pressure / sensor issue. Can't see why making a genius appointment would hurt, I would.

Especially if it is an easy issue to recreate
