I’m really surprised there’s no Apple Store at least in Dublin, especially given that Apple has their European HQ in Ireland.Ireland pretty please! 🤞
Don’t forget that Apple has been based in Ireland since 1980, has had an Apple-owned manufacturing business there since then and currently employs over 6,000 people in Ireland.Ireland being every corporation's European headquarters just like there are a surprising number of companies in the Cayman Islands...
I'm sure Ireland could come up with something that would incentivize them to build stores...
Just checked and nothing, sorryI can’t read the whole report. To ones that can read it, could you please tell if Apple is planning to open a new store in Istanbul or Ankara?
Probably a lot of lack of communication, wrong moves, and no real interests to reach an agreement.Kind of sounds like either excessive local government bureaucracy and / or lack of due diligence on Apple's part have spoiled Sweden for them.
Article says fourth one is planned for April 2024 in Solna (Mall of Scandinavia).Well, re. Sweden we have not much Apple Stores here
When I ask in the Apple Store app….
213 km and 2 hrs and 7 mins away.
I could do it on a coffee break, right 😉
There are 3 stores in this country. Non with good locations in the biggest cities.
I live in 2nd biggest city, and the closet, yes, as mentioned above.
Then I read up why Apple don’t even have a very good central store in our capital city, Stockholm, it cleared up, as I recalled part of that story.
They bought property but wasn’t allowed to build there, and first wanted to sell it back to the city, and raised the price to make some win on the affair, and the city refused to buy it back.
So Apple was sitting with a property they couldn’t use for 7 years before they got it sold to some real estate investor guy.
Ok, so I guess Sweden is not a priority for Apple 😌
Ok, guess that was behind the paywall of that article, as I didn't read that.Article says fourth one is planned for April 2024 in Solna (Mall of Scandinavia).
Yep, Best Buy is technically an AASP for some things, but I’d rather drive to Keystone or Mishawaka than deal with them. This is an instance where the old mini store concept would be perfect!Fort Wayne, Indiana, please, so I can stop driving 200 mile/4 hour round trips to get Macs fixedThere's also no authorized service provider here.
Would love for the two locations in Columbus Ohio to be enlarged and updated...
I was in Crakow 2 weeks ago and then the Tatra Mountains, I was amazed how many people had iPhones, compared to 3 years ago.Nearest to Cracow (Kraków) is 465km in Austria 🇦🇹. And we have 0 number of Apple Stores in Poland, because why not.
So I share your pain
Authorized Resellers are good but it’s not the same feeling like being in real Apple Store.
Detroit has many problems to sort out, before big business returns IMO 😏The one in Detroit is much anticipated. there are many Apple stores in metro Detroit in the suburbs but not the city itself. Word is it will accupy three storefronts on Woodward Avenue. It will get a lot of business. It will be near Wayne State University and Medical School, many health systems (Henry Ford, DMC, VA, and more), GM, Comerica Park (Tigers), Ford Field (Lions), Little Caesar's Arena (Pistons & Red Wings), Quicken Loans HQ,...and residents.
The Glendale Galleria (R001) store is still Apple's first ever retail location. Tyson's Corner (R010) was the first to open because of the time zone difference.
"Apple recently redid Apple Tysons Corner in Virginia, introducing a total overhaul of its first-ever Apple retail location."
I am in NZ, Australia is my nearest store.... but who cares. That's 3 more than Ireland has.
Ireland being Apple's European headquarters mind you...
The population of Sweden is slightly less than twice the population of Finland. Sweden has 3 Apple Stores with a 4th on the way. How many Apple Stores in Finland? Zero...none...0. So your complaints are falling on deaf ears over here.Well, re. Sweden we have not much Apple Stores here

Not exactly like the Cayman Islands!
Thank you ☹️Just checked and nothing, sorry![]()
FYI, this Apple Store, the only one in Austria, is always overrun. Shopping there is not a nice experience because wait times are very long. If you have a problem with your Apple device don’t even think of showing up without an appointment. Because of this situation, lots of things are not in stock (e.g. they couldn’t replace my Pencil, I had to come in again two days later). Whenever possible I avoid the Store and get any transactions done online.Nearest to Cracow (Kraków) is 465km in Austria 🇦🇹. And we have 0 number of Apple Stores in Poland, because why not.

At least you have some - in Denmark we still have 0 (zero)!Well, re. Sweden we have not much Apple Stores here
