I wonder if any of these "updates" are what the big advertisement for new sales people was? You know, the one that was supposed to be a real big, significant product? I hope not.
Boring apple, boring.

Rich

Quality of the HTTP feed was great

I have a lower-end FiOS connection and 802.11g networking, and this stream played in full screen on my 2 year old 15" MBP with 10.6 beautifully. I know I was watching that stream because I used Inspect Element. There was some pixelation at times, but not like other streams I have seen.

I think they used this event to demonstrate the capabilities as well as test out their own delivery mechanism. So far, so good I say.

it was so great to be able to watch it live. i've had problems with quicktime streams for the last 3 years and now it all seems to work again.

who did it

Does anyone know who did this stream, was it akamai? Anyone know the tech behind it.?

something called edgepoint.net seemed to be heavy in the source

Apple has come this small with the new iShuffle and with FaceTalk iWatch is coming soon...it reminds me of the Jetsons...

Watched wireless live on my iphone as my G4 tower is showing its age.

Great quality, excellent transmission.

Just had to figure out that QT only buffered 30 min at a time and then it was time to renew the stream.

This was better than any QT post after the event which stutters rebuffers etc..

Go Apple:)

wow awesome, i scan down the topic titles and literally every single news story is related to apple mobile devices and/or ios....gee thanks apple, next time i buy a $2000 notebook i will look elsewhere

Live stream

How many watched the live steam of the iPod event; that will be interesting stat to note.

was there a delay like 2 to 3 mins between live and stream? because i heard you can see the news in engadget but stream was like two mins late .

Next time will Apple TV will be able to stream Live event in Living room TV?
