iPhone 11 Pro Apple pricing strategy

Would you buy an iPhone at launch if you knew you could save a few hundred by waiting a few months?

Well I’ve only upgrade phones like 3 times (5s, 6s+, then bought 6s couple years later, then iPhone 11 Pro Max)

Upgrading for me is always later so I would choose to have the current or next phone coming at launch for retail

If I then choose to upgrade
 
Even if I could save a few hundred dollars a few months after launch of a new iPhone, I would still buy a launch day iPhone. The only iPhone I’ve ever purchased after launch was my XS Max purchased in March 2019, which I love but will be upgrading to the 12 Pro Max when it’s released. I’m not worried about bragging rights of a new device, I just love technology. I hope it don’t take long to jailbreak this fall’s new devices.
