I have looked through forums and spoke with Apple Support and no one is giving a straight answer.

To my understanding, if you purchase this bundle you get a password protected PDF with 5 separate content codes for the 5 core Apple Pro Apps. The bundle is bought on the Apple Store, and the codes are redeemed on the Mac App Store; these are 2 different entities.

The following questions remain:

1. If not redeemed, are these codes in any way tied to the Apple store purchasing Apple ID?
2. If any single code is redeemed, are all software tied to the purchasing ID?

3. If no to the above, are there any forums or outlets to safely buy/sell these codes?

I have already purchased Logic Pro X at full retail...and needless to say I am a little hurt that I could've got 4 other apps thrown in for free. And yes, I am long past any sort of return period.

Thanks

Good question. I don’t have answers but would be interested in knowing. Try chatting with Apple Support and let us know.

Unfortunately this post comes after already wasting an hour with support. I ended up teaching them more about the product then they could teach me. I'm aware that results may vary...but I read the fine print for the last software I bought from the Apple Store (Lion and Mountain Lion back in 2017), and it read something ridiculous along the lines of "To be used in a school environment only" and "licenses can be revoked at any time".

So I don't know how much help Apple themselves will be if they actually look into it.

While the bundle is made for students to purchase, there is no requirement to use the software for school use only. One can be a student and use the software for personal projects. Also, I highly doubt they expect students to stop using the software once they graduate.
