The ultimate responsibility rests with those who selected the agency and who sign-off on their work. Their marketing communications blunders are frequent (pulled cringeworthy student campaign, pulled ad of iPad destroying creative tools, pulled ad of iPhone promising AI vaporware that wasn't ready) and someone needs to go stat.
