“Apple seems really bad at appealing to ”the youth” with some of their services”

I’m specifically talking about services and not hardware. Nothing of what I said applies to hardware.
Sorry, my dumb arse missed that part of the sentence. I agree.

The US link worked me for me.

I’ve had so many AppleTV Plus free offers thrown my way for the past few years and honestly to this day don’t care for it…

Except for Ted Lasso.

It’s a nice show and saw it once in its entirety a year ago. So I just redeemed the code so I could enjoy it again.

Tim Cook makes it seems like it’s on the same level as Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul but Ted Lasso is indeed a nice show.

Point is, I don’t care about Selena Gomez documentaries or seeing a blind Aquaman. They really fumbled what AppleTV Plus could’ve been and I believe competed with Netflix and Disney Plus but nawwwwwwww.

What if you are a Swifty though? Regardless would have been better if it was for Arcade though. Anyway thanks.

It would be great if Apple TV+ was a monthly subscription and you had access to everything in the iTunes Movie and TV store to stream. Similar to Apple Music.

This is one reason to not have Apple One. These trials often apply to existing customers of individual services, but not the bundle. Apple has somehow made One the worst deal in many ways. No annual plan discount even though the individual services do, for example.

Her birthday is the same as mine.
That's all I know. I'm 2X+ her age.
As for Apple TV+, only the Snoopy stuff appeals to me.
To me it is only truly free if I don't have to give Apple my debit card.

Ya’ll better have watched or plan on watching Severance (possibly also Mythic Quest).

Everything has gone up in price…& you can take a wild guess as to why
No guess at all: because people as a group opt to just pay instead of refuse to pay… rewarding price hikes, leading to “another record quarter for revenue and profit.”

While people choose to keep rolling over and just pay more, prices will keep rising. Sellers happily take more and more money if people keep swapping it for their products or services. Griping & whining doesn't do a thing, the FED can only put some pinch on spending on credit, etc. People as a group have to tangibly illustrate they value their hard-earned cash and future cash (otherwise known as credit) MORE than what is being offered at inflated prices. Else, it’s only a win for sellers to charge more, more, more… because people will pay it.

Most simply: consumers seem to have forgotten about their great (collective) power to say “NO!” Until they re-learn it or have it forced upon them by prices rising so high they simply can't find any way to "just pay"... inflation roars on, hunting for that "maximize revenue & profit" target right at the edge of what people will/can pay.

In short: we're doing it to ourselves by clearly showing we don't value our own money enough to choose the other option: NOT buying.

Same. I love Snoopy and Fraggle and some other kids things, but is there any live action that isn't MA+++? Like the Murders one. Why does she have to swear every sentence or worse? At least when Steve and Martin swear, there's an appropriate reason

I guess I am not a qualified existing and/or returning subscriber. I am currently under a promo code now, and doesn't look like it is stackable.

At one point I would have scoffed at this article, but Selena was brilliant alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short in Only Murders In the Building on Hulu, and her cooking show on HBO Max is fun. Seems like a good kid who's avoiding a lot of the usual pitfalls of child actors. I'll be watching this.

Thank You. If people just keep paying because they have the money instead of thinking if it's worth the price, nothing will change. Same with people continually saying it is what it is.

And I agree credit is one of the worst things ever. When it was cash only way back when, people and businesses had to weigh what the market could afford.

Yup. And considering that roughly half of Americans own stocks, a lot of the people complaining are personally profiting from the price hikes they decry.

I've heard of Selena Gomez by name and vaguely remembered what she looked like. However, I had to look up her filmography b/c I haven't seen many of the films she's been in. Here, Hotel Transylvania.

So the link to the page says this 2-month ATV+ promo expires on Dec. 2nd 2022. Does anybody know ahead of time whether or not we can redeem this if we've already redeemed the 4 month trial for ATV+ for purchasing a new iPad? It says "New and qualified returning subscribers only.", but wanted to be sure.
