I think it’s scratches they care about. Beat up and use products don’t look good white hide’s it all.

That’s a good point, although maybe there’s a way to prevent that.

Making a buying decision because of the color of the case is silly.

Maybe the AirPods themselves but no way I would say, “ Ooooooo colors!!!” And pay $200+ dollars.

It's also more efficient to only have to maintain in stock of one colour vs multiple colours and options.

I didn't say there was anything wrong with having multiple colours or capacities. Just explained a benefit of only having one. As a consumer I'm cool with having as many colour options as possible but can also understand the benefit of only having it in one colour for the business.

Where did you say otherwise? You commented on an article about the case being a different color. I can’t assume you are talking about something else. You just said AirPods, which could mean both on second read but could just as likely be talking about the case as a set of AirPods.

Either way, it wasn’t a personal attack on you. Many people say that, but I still don’t see how I would change a buying decision based on that.
