I think Apple did great adding all of that rainbow color diversity to the iMac production line. It probably cheers the workers up and gives them relief from the never ending repetitive tasks they must perform for 12 hours a day 7 days a week.
 
If everything was so great in the supply chain, workers shouldn't be complaining about their dorms, they should earn enough to actually afford their own living.
A lot of these workers don't live in the city all year and it's more cost effective and convenient to live in the dorms even if they could afford to live outside the campus.
 
That photo....no doubt produced by Americans, but this kind of happily optimistic workplace scene or the like commonly found on corporate or government propaganda, sorry I mean information pamphlets etc always strike me as closely related to Soviet Realism art from the Stalin years.

I guess I am getting old, but I don’t like being manipulated either.

Yeah, just like all engineers in silicon valley. I've heard Apple's dorms are really tidy and that you only share bunk with one person. :rolleyes:
