You can still restore the firmware in iTunes. I did this the last time an update bricked one of my homepodsif it were the old Apple before they switched away from Mac being the digital hub, this would've been easy to fix by restoring the firmware via iTunes

You can’t even restore firmware for iPhones anymore now after ios 18 (if you had not heard, both iTunes and the new Apple Devices application are both nonfunctional and error out before completing an update or full restore - multiple complaints about this in other threads)

Same thing here randomly. Couldn't even reset. Freezer trick worked for my AirPods Max.Did they brick the Airpods Max as well? Mine just stopped working. Can't connect it anymore. Guess I need to put it in the freezer.
