You're complaining about two small nicks when you plan on placing some stickers on the back.

Just use the damn thing.

Stickers or not, at these prices, I wouldn't accept a "new" laptop with any nicks on it just to be able to say I had the latest and greatest. I say return it, wait a while, and if it's not a BTO pick one up in the Apple store where you can inspect it before you buy it.

For the third time, this is too wide to be an iPad. Why would he lie about his device? Stop being so paranoid.

I just told you, an iPad in portrait mode is not that wide.

It looks black because the screen is off and the glossy layer of transparent plastic in the logo is reflecting something dark.

This is a picture of my MBA with a similar effect:

It's not as dark because it's reflecting my ceiling which is white but you get the idea.

How funny that you are the only one defending the OP with arguments that make no sense. If this is not an iPad, let the OP post a different photo. It's very easy to take a photo of the outside lid of your RMBP - you don't need an iPad reflecting off the screen while using the RMBP's internal FaceTime camera to show a defect that is on the OUTSIDE of the RMBP.

Your arguments are not making any sense at all. The OP clearly faked his picture to make it look like the RMBP has defects, it's obviously a photo of his abused iPad. Nothing you said changes that.

You should let the OP speak for himself… are you the OP?

The whole Photo Booth reflection thing was a joke. Otherwise the image would be flipped horizontally and it would look bad like any Photo Booth image.

You're really taking this way too seriously. I'll just let OP prove you wrong since you won't listen to me anyway. Or, if you want to save time, just look at his post history, he has put other pics of his rMBP in other threads.
