Speak 'murican, etc.

Hopefully everything is all sorted soon for you OP :)

In the United States, People including online retailers such as Apple.com Amazon.com, always use "carrier" when mentioning companies that deliver items to customers or take returned items back to the retailers.

I think that courier is spoken only in England.

I think that courier is spoken only in England.

And pretty much any Commonwealth country as well.

I couldn't return it via the store, I would have to have had it returned via courier because I bought it online. Stupid I know but that's what the Genius Bar guy, the manager and the guy I spoke to on the phone said. It's a 10 day turn around for the whole process. I'm having a new one shipped out tomorrow and then I send the old one back.

Ah glad to hear that it's worked out for the best.

Courier in Australia too. Carrier is a telco provider.

Koerier in Dutch. Kurier in German. :)

American English is reformed English so is the most unique around the world.

Well, I'm glad they did replace it and give you a free case/cover, but I would have sent it back via the carrier and then bought a new one at the store (and checked it out before I left the store).

PITA, I know, but I bought one and then turned around and replaced it in-store because it suffered from the screen distortion just by holding it. Then I gave up because that was my second iPad Air 2.

Quality control...

Best Buy had $100 off 128GB iPad Air 2. I added 10 percent movers coupon. $160.00 straight off the top, $539.99 for 128GB Wi-Fi Air 2. Sweet.

Got home, noticed 3 scratches on the back, as much as 2 inches long. One deeper than the others.

I took it back to Best Buy. At first didn't really believe me, thought I might have done it, but it was still quick. Manager said that did not look like damage I did, no obviously it wasn't, I never even turned it on. They said I could exchange for a brand new one. Overall, pretty nice about it.

Manager said I should open in store, I said, I enjoy opening at home, he said ok and I could return again if I had to.

I went ahead and opened in store, it had no scratches, but a couple nicks in the space gray back. Manager approved return for refund.

Well, I guess $539.99 was too good to be true for a 128GB Air 2.

I won't ever get that deal again, I was also getting 12 months 0 APR on my Best Buy Card. I felt good about the purchase, a shame I had to get the first flawed one in particular.

Yep, hence why he had no idea what courier meant!

Got my new unit on Tuesday, flawless. Thanks apple :).

That's BS. Tell them if you buy a Surface Pro 3 from Microsoft Store online you can exchange it at any Microsoft retail store.

Good to hear. My iPad 4 that I bought in 2012 had a small scratch on the back that buffed out 99% so I kept it, has been otherwise flawless. I didn't want to risk swapping it for another one and risk having a different problem. My iPad 3 had a bezel that would click/move against the chassis when you gripped it firmly. I feel their quality control isn't what it used to be.
