My biggest complaint with Apple iPhones was the charge speed. So when I got the new iPhone 8 I decided to figure out the best possible combination.

So I tried several USB and USB-C Chargers.
I've also tried different cables.
For USB Cables, I tried apple and Anker cables with similar results
on USB-C is when **** hit the fan.
I tried 4 different cables that I ordered off amazon and it charged SLOWER than USB. So till we find an alternative you have to buy the overpriced apple lightning to usb-c cable.

Here are the results

Why the voltage changes? Unknown but you can see that the Anker is in the lead but let's step back for a second. Let's see how the chargers do when you charge a Macbook Pro 13!

If you are buying a charger, let's make sure it is multi-purpose.

The winner is now clear with the Dodocool Charger!

Has anyone found a cheaper USB-C to Lightning Cable that charges fast?

Notes: I've tested on iPhone 8 between 20% and 80% when quick charge happens. The results are the average of 4 tests. For USB I used a standard USB Volt/Amp meter and USB-C Plugable USB-C Voltage and Amperage Meter.
