Please educate yourself.
1) The amount of engineers Apple needs are not available in the US.
Same for assembly jobs.
2) The jobs being in Asia would require re-location to China/Taiwan etc.
How many American engineers speak the language(s)
3) We live in a global society where patriotism is unimportant. The engineers are needed where the manufacturing is.
Many reasons why that is not here.
Apple is represented in so many countries, that of course they hire locally.
Add to that the American tax authorities trying to grab every dollar they can (and waste) and you have to admit that if it was your money you would not give it up unnecessarily either.
