I have the iPhone 7+ - Just picked it up today in Matte Black!

I needed a new case - my 6Plus S leather won't fit it.

Being that the phone is waterproof - i'm trying to decide between leather and silicone.

What did everyone choose, and why?

Silicone case starts falling apart after a matter of weeks/months. Leather stands the test of time better, but is a little more slippy.

They are both nice! I am considering between the 2 currently.

I had a stone leather case on my white 5s and it got sooooo dirty and worn around the edges that I ditched it after a a few months. It has made me very apprehensive about getting another leather case but...... the red leather case is so nice and would look cool on the black or jet black.

Last year I got a midnight blue silicone case for my space grey 6s and am pretty happy how it has held up. There is a few nicks in it now but they are more recently acquired. Not surprising given that it gets thrown in my handbags beside keys and the like. However because it is dark colour I can't really see how dirty it might be!

Overall though am thinking that in the red the leather might age better than the silicone........

I got the red leather last night but think it might be too bright for me. Think I'll switch out for a midnight blue! I have already changed my mind from tan to grey to red

I love the look of the leather Apple cases, but they're not grippy enough for me. So I use the silicone cases instead.
