I paid $10.99 for 20 gb in August for a year's storage. For the small difference I would like to upgrade to 50 GB for 99¢ a month. Does anyone know if Apple will refund the unused portion of that prepaid amount? There is mention of a partial refund when you upgrade but said it was limited to where it was required by law. Is that state dependent? I live in CA.
I could not find the answer to my question anywhere so called Apple. Wasn't sure they would talk to me free since my phone is a little over a year. But they did.
After several attempts at trying to explain what I wanted to know- would I get a refund for upgrading to 50 GB for 99¢ a month because I was currently on an annual plan that renewed on Aug 1 - I think I finally got my point across. The tech checked with whoever it is they check with and came back to say on October 1 my old plan ($10.99 for 20 GB) will automatically upgrade itself to 50 GB. What I couldn't get from her was how much it would be exactly. It sounded like the old plan would terminate and the new plan would start. Don't know if the price stays the same or i get charged the extra 88¢. It's a deal either way. Now hopefully she was right and the answer I got was to the question I asked. I guess I'll know on Oct 1. Anyone see mention of this auto upgrade on the net?

If this is the case and they are just upgrading you to 10.99 a year, then I'm gonna be hella pissed cause I just upgraded today after being on the 10.99 plan.
