Apple refurbished return policy?

I know I have 14 days to return the Macbook However does it start from the day you place the order or the day you receive the order?

The day you acquired physical possession of the product is when the warranty starts.
If you bought a car would you expect the warranty to start when you ordered the car or when you took physical possesion of the car?
I think Aston Martin / Fararri have a 18 month to 2 or even 3 year waiting list from order to delivery.
