Apple has registered nine unreleased iPhone models in the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) database, according to listings uncovered by MySmartPrice and confirmed by MacRumors.

The new and unannounced iPhones use the previously unknown model identifiers A2176, A2172, A2341, A2342, A2399, A2403, A2407, A2408, and the A2411.

Rumors have suggested Apple will complete its transition to an all-OLED lineup for this year's "iPhone 12," with one new 5.4-inch device, two 6.1-inch models, and one 6.7-inch handset.

Rumors suggest the 6.7-inch ‌iPhone‌ and one 6.1-inch model will be higher-end OLED devices with triple-lens cameras, while the 5.4 and 6.1-inch models will be lower-end iPhones with dual-lens cameras and a more affordable price tag.

Based on the new model numbers, it's possible that the A2176 and the A2172 refer to the two more affordable models, while the other numbers could be variants of the high-end models. All of the models are listed as running iOS 13. Apple is expected to release new iPhones in the fall.

In addition to the new ‌iPhone filings, Apple also registered a previously unseen Mac model with the identifier A2330 and running macOS 10.15 Catalina.

We've been hearing significant rumors about an imminent update to the iMac. Previously reliable leaker CoinX said in March that an ‌iMac‌ update was coming "soon," while an April rumor claimed a new low-cost 23-inch iMac is coming in the second half of the year.

Mark Gurman said in late April that a "substantial" iMac update with a possible redesign would be coming later in the year, and on Monday, Sonny Dickson claimed that a redesigned iMac with "iPad Pro design language" will be coming at this month's WWDC.

Similar EEC filings have preceded the launch of new Apple products on numerous occasions, including multiple ‌iPad‌, ‌iPad Pro‌, iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch, and AirPods models. The filings are legally required for any encrypted devices sold in Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.

Yes but you're questioning if iOS 14 could be delayed because iOS 13 is crap - that makes no sense, whatsoever.

if they build iOS 14 on the base of „what they have“, then they might as well wait until they get iOS 13 right or release a 13.6 (supporting the new phones in the Fall) with iOS14 being previewed soon but coming at a later date. I doubt they rebuild every major release from scratch and not use the previous version at its core

Can any sleuths glean any hints about the model number using this resource?

I mean it’s probably the new 27 inch iMac, but still.
How would that work? That website’s database is populated with known information. Obviously no one knows anything about these new model numbers. So, NO.. not possible to make something out of nothing.

9 models?! Isn’t that a bit too much? :p
That was my first though as well. Four phone models with nine numbers probably means they all won't have the same color choices. The current Pro has four finishes; that would leave five model numbers (unless Apple reduces the Pro choices) distributed over three phones. I'm wondering where (product)Red will fit in.

With the 16 inch MacBook, they simply changed the 1 to a 2 from the front of the old 17 inch identifier. You’re clearly not as well versed in Mac anticipation geekery as I am.

Re the Mac, should be two numbers if iMac, no? Two sizes. Still a couple of numbers still unused from the last lot that were registered.

More likely MBP 14", iMac Pro, gamebook/Mac...

CONGRATULATIONS! Your smaller iPhone Pro is just getting bigger. I hate this. Why don’t they keep the same size as the current 5.8” 11 Pro!??
there will be less sides. With square sides again the bezels should be much smaller and overall smaller phone in the same size. Id imagine the 6.1 will be very similar to the 5.8 in overall size.

Was really hoping the smaller model would be full spec. Moved down a size to 11 Pro from XS Max and it's perfect. Really don't want to go larger in order to get all the features, especially the camera.

The market is vast and has matured. It is so well established and the customer base is very secure. Continuing with one or two like previous years would be like BMW having one or two models. BMW would start to be seen as a niche, elite curiosity instead of the big player it is. (BTW, Tesla really needs more than three at this point)

Damn it where's the Apple TV among the list! That's all I've been waiting for.

They really need to get the number of iPhone models under control. For the average consumer it's going to get too confusing.
What’s lacking in the current Apple TV 4K? I don’t ave a 4K tv yet so I can’t really tell. Does it have trouble at that resolution?
