Apple this week introduced Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones in a new Camo Collection, available in either Forest Green or Sand Dune.

The Beats Studio3 Wireless Headphones in the Camo Collection are identical to prior Beats Studio3 headphones with Pure Adaptive Noise Canceling Technology, a built-in Apple-designed W1 chip, fast charging functionality, up to 22 hours battery life, and a $349 price point.

Along with the new Camo Beats Studio3 Wireless, Apple has brought back previously available colors of the BeatsX and Beats Solo3 headphones. The Beats X earphones in the Defiant collection are back, available in black and red for the standard $99.95 price point.

As for the Solo3 headphones, Apple is once again selling its Satin collection, offering the headphones in Satin Silver and Satin Gold right alongside the Red, Rose Gold, and Black options.

Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones include Apple's W1 chip for simple setup and device switching, fast charging, 40 hours of battery life, and a $199.95 price point.

Apple is also now offering a new Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable that's available in a black color option for $35.

Apple previously offered a Belkin branded Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable, but this new model is direct from Apple and also $5 more expensive than the Belkin version.

Lots of headphones use a 2.5mm jack on the ear cup for the cable. Id love a lightning to 2.5mm cable. Then I could make my Sennheiser headphones lightning!

What is wrong with the colour in that first photo? Colours seem distorted, or is that the actual design?

And Apple needs a headshake around cable design. I don't understand why they stick with the smooth surfaces on the part of the cable you're supposed to grip? There's minimalist design, and then there's poor design.

I absolutely love the BeatsX brand. They remind me of the original in ear Apple buds. I just wish they'd improve the battery life by adding a slightly larger battery. They claim 8 hours on a full charge, I'd say more like 6 1/2-7 hours.

Camo Beats Studio3

$45 CDN is an absurd price for a headphone cable. It’d be nice to have but in the rare uses where I use wired headphones I’ll just continue using the $10 headphone jack adapter.

New Camo Collection.
It is in the first sentence, pal. ;)

35 dollars for the cable? Holy **** Apple truly are the worst. They told reviewers of the Beats Solo Pro that it would be in the 20 dollar range. And then it comes out at 35. Hahahaha.

I know!! I can’t believe more people didn’t jump on that. You can get a 3 pairs of cheap headphones for 35! And this is just a freakin cable!

Tim loves his dongles and cables

Important question - if you plug this cable in, does it turn off the headphones? Or is it constantly draining battery even in wired mode like the Beats Studio 3s do?

I wish Apple would release an official Lightning to 3.5mm and USB cable. So you can charge the iPhone and have it plugged into a car aux at the same time. It would be super useful for all those people who don't have a fancy new car or a fancy car stereo.

I liked beats x but durability is crap. Most users reported 3-6 months of daily usage before their bears broke. I was lucky enough to get 7 months.

Apple never told anyone that it would be "in the 20 dollar range."

I'm just waiting for "Apple releases Smart Battery Case for iPhone 11 Pro"

Please Apple, I'd really love it.

This must be sarcasm because my 11 Pro runs is barely down to 50% at the end of the day.

They sure did. In several of the preview videos (CNET, Engadget etc) they all mention that they were told there would be a cable around 20 dollars for wired mode.

My Beats X lasted a long time until I lost sound in one ear a month or two ago. Think I had them two and half years or so since they came out. Reckon it was the battery. I was hoping that Apple would bring iut an updated version soon. Not sure they’ve been popular enough though. Bit of a blow. They can be bought cheaply now in sales. May just pick up and new pair. Same price as changing the battery at an Apple store.
