Never had been able to even use the mic. Disconnect to speaker phone. Discord sucked too. $30 turtlebeach headset has been flawless.

You must be doing something wrong. I never had issues with my AirPods Pro 2 or any other AirPods I own/have owned.

I sure hope it fixes the constant drops with my 16 Pro during phone calls.

Are you referring to dropped calls or AirPods disconnecting from your device?
If it’s the first one, it’s a phone service issue.
the later one, you must have a device waking up and taking over the AirPods.
