With testing starting in late February, iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4 are expected to see a launch in April.
I am assuming the iPadOS 18.4 and iOS 18.4 will be released at the same time as new iPad Air and iPads are announced? (Alongside MacBook Air as well?)

With that being said, next Apple “launch” will likely be in April, don’t know if it will still be an “event” considering Apple internally cancelled all events until WWDC due to upheaval at Apple board with some potentially retiring in protest……

Nope. I didn't use it before. But it tells me on German not, that it's not working, because I'm in the EU. v.v
It's Schroedinger's availability! Useable and unuseable at the same time, as long, as you don't try it.
And before you ask: I use it on an iPad Pro with 16 GB Ram, it should work!

P.S.: Apple Intelligence works. The language is setup to german, but Apple Intelligence understands only plain English.

Ok doesn’t work. It enabled but can’t process anything.

Plug your device into a socket and leave it plugged in. Even if it is already at 100%. Only when the power is connected will Apple download the local data for Apple Intelligence. And don't forget to activate “ChatGPT” in the Apple Intelligence settings.

And then another 20 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the server load, then hopefully you will have Apple Intelligence in working condition. I now have it working on one iPad, while the other iPad and the MacBook are still not working with Apple Intelligence, even after loading everything. It is hillarious!

Ah yes, I see the sentence now on top of the AI settings. You'd think there'd be a progress bar or something indicating that it's doing anything

On macOS long time there was only a rotating spiral, until it said suddenly 98%, minutes later 100%, and then another hour later it was done. On iPadOS there is nothing visual, that it's downloading, but at some point, you get a system message, that Genmoji and other stuff is ready to be used. After that message it took another hour, until it understood German and worked. But to be honest: I'm not impressed. It all feels and looks, as if it would need another 1-2 years in development, before it's useable. Just my opinion.

So a whole bunch of nothingness... Got it.
The Apple Vision Pro app is going to be very helpful. I think it would be great for me to be able to use my phone to decide what I want to download on my Vision Pro rather than actually put on the device. Sometimes it’s just faster to add it on with my phone I would imagine.

Apple will never be able to catch up. 1-2 years is optimistic IMHO.

My phone is stuck in the Apple Logo loop.
Had the same problem with my iPad (an 2020 Air). Was forced to revert to iPadOS 18.3.1 via DFU mode and recovery - lots of „unknown errors“ on the way, and only the sixth try did work finally.
Today tried it again, but the update hangs claiming „verification impossible for now, try later“ (translated back to English from German). Will wait for the next beta release …

You need an app to manage and monitor guest users for your AirPods? To search for apps to download onto your AirPods? To pre-load content onto your AirPods?

You can do all those things on the Vision Pro itself, just as easily as you can on an iPhone; the same can’t be said of the AirPods, which currently have no less than 23 different settings and functions crammed into a menu in Settings (that’s only sometimes visible).

I will likely use this Vision Pro app more than I would an AirPods app, even though I use my AirPods more (several times a day) than the Vision Pro (once or twice a day).
