It seems to me Apple is repackaging its old stuff and calling it "New"
iTunes had "Love" for years, now Apple Music will have "Favorites"
Widgets came out 18 years ago with Tiger
Ports on the Macbook Pro are back
MagSafe is back
Titanium is back
What's next, Airport Router? Wait, this one has an SSD in it for backup!!!!

I have the M1 iPad Pro. I also saw someone posting earlier in this thread that the new sounds worked on their iPhone.
Well definitely not on mine. Unless there’s some secret way to get them on there

All of my 8 AirTags and 2 shared by family members are still missing in find my items.

Issue had expanded after a week from iPhone se3 to Sonoma public beta Mac m2.

Neither of today’s public beta updates fixed issue.

Only items present and correctly updating anymore are in find my in Apple Watch 6.

Anybody else?

I noticed that the charge to 80% doesn’t work with the 17.1 beta.
Was working fine on 17.0.2.
Woke up this morning and it was 100%.
Here the same.
I just noticed that since updating from 17.0 to 17.1, my iPhone 15 Pro Max is charging at 100% even though it's set to 80%. Before, it always worked fine that the device only charges to 80% according to the new setting, but now it charges fully. I have checked again. The setting is still at 80%.
Could it be a bug?

It will charge to 100% for calibration and return to 80% at times.
Meanwhile, I think that the iPhone 15 Pro Max does not calibrate itself in order to stop at 80% at some point.
The device charges every morning up to the full 100%.

Did you read somewhere at Apple that he has to calibrate first and then stay at 80%? Where did you get your statement from?

I rather feel like it's a bug.

Any sign of a fix for that absolutely massive “Synced content” space duplication bug that no one is talking about? It’s insane how huge that bug is.

Is it duplication? I saw it in mine (43+GB) and wonder what the heck it was.
Yup. It shows the correct storage numbers in macOS when you connect your iPhone to a Mac. So it is 100% a bug. Imagine the vast numbers of normies out there who have no clue why their phone is suddenly almost completely out of space. This should have been fixed last week at the latest. And ideally, not there in the first instance.
