It's really stupid, if you use the Shazam app, they're saved in there (and also an Apple Music playlist if you use Music). But if you use the control center button, it's in a notification but not saved in the app.
Thanks mate. So if I use the control centre button I only get a notification. And if i clear that notification that shazam is gone as it's not stored anywhere else? I dont have apple music.

I can't figure out the shazam process. I've used it for a few songs but can't figure out where the heck they're saved!
Shy tips guys?

If you tap on the notification that is created by using the Shazam button in the control centre, it will open the Shazam app and add the track to your Shazams! I'm hoping this is just a bug because it is a bit annoying that it functions this way.

I've yet to try having the Shazam app open in the background and testing whether this will add it without the need to tap on the notification.

Agreed. But this fix worked for me. It also fixed that my watch was no longer auto-unlocking my iMac. (Tho this did take a few hours after the backup had finished installing. Initially it had appeared this was not a fix). Agreed on the whole that this was a widespread issue, and probably something Apple should have been aware about.

Does it have to be an iCloud restore ? Much easier for me to do a restore from my Mac. Such bad experiences of iOS 14 I’m very wary of doing anything. Thanks for your feedback

Does the new update to the music player in control centre work with Spotify too, or just apple music?

Unfortunately, even after today's beta 4 release and Shazam app update, you still need to click on the notification to add the Shazam to your app. I was really hoping this would be fixed. I also tested having Shazam open in background, issue remains. Fingers crossed they will do something about this at some point.

Well, not only did it not work, I've lost my history and, I've tried to add my music back to my phone from iTunes and it is all completely screwed up now. I don't know what to do. I use my iPhone for activity tracking and my music collection and iOS 14 has robbed me of both

That's a bummer. So erased your phone and your watch, and then reinstalled both from recent backups? Your music should be back on your phone, if that's what you did.

You’d think. I chose Apple years ago because they were amazing at helping me get access to my music collection. Now that iOS14 has disabled that functionality, there’s no point any more. I’m done. It’s been hard the last few months but that’s it for me now. I’ve had enough.

Can you help me understand your issue? I'm a bit confused. How or in what way exactly did iOS 14 disable your access? Were you using Apple Music? Or iTunes Match? Were you sync'ed to a desktop or laptop? Maybe we can help you.

Anyone else getting an false update message while on beta 14.2?
