Updated my 6 minis and 2 OG, not an issue.

But overall they look to work better than before as a stereo couple with a 3rd gen Apple TV 4K.

I used to have the "can't connect to Airplay" and the other audio bug, now it's performing better after the update.

“HomePod‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌ software is installed automatically on the ‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌HomePod‌‌‌‌ unless the feature is disabled”

Not! It was enabled in Home, but yet I had to initiate it manually.

Maybe that bug’s now gone in this update?

Yeah, right 🤡 it won’t.

No, the update will happen when "automatic" is enabled, just not immediately when an update is released. Sometimes after one day or sometimes after a week - it seems random. And usually it happens at night when you're asleep.
The Apple TV, apps on Mac, iPhone or iPad... all the same.

Well, I wouldn’t contradict you, but they kinda never did update faster than my brain wanted it to 😊
Let’s say I never have been positively surprised by the setting…
