Guys I'm currently on the ios public Beta. If I install this will I be able to remain on the Beta programme? Or will I lose the opportunity to upgrade to the next beta release?
Thanks mate. The only reason I want to upgrade to this as I currently have an odd problem on the latest beta - when they keyboard comes up for email, whatsapp or messages, I have to scroll down a little to see the text as I type. I'm hoping this version foxes that! You will remain on the public beta until you remove the beta profile from your device. Though if you had already downloaded the RC version, it should be identical to this version, so you shouldn’t need to do anything extra today.
Not available yet in Miami, FL.

Update: It became available right after I posted the above.

I’m happy to say that on my 12 pro Max the issue is more controlled- but still not gone.Raised blacks still there... iPhone 12 Pro Max 👏 👏
Under modern versioning new features mean a new version not just a patch level. This feels more like a 14.3.1 than a 14.4.
I’ve used this beta throughout and today was the first day I noticed this. And it’s already stopped.I’m trying to understand how out of all these tech related sites and “YouTubers,” I can’t find one talking about the amount of frame rate “drops” and “hang-ups” in system animations. It’s been an issue all throughout this beta and now to the public. I’ve restored and it’s still there.
No mention of the app-tracking feature that Facebook hates?
OMG! Been waiting forever for this! There are several bug fixes for issues that include image artifacts appearing in HDR photos taken with iPhone 12 Pro, problems with the Fitness widget not updating correctly, and a bug that could cause typing to be delayed and word suggestions not to appear when using the keyboard.
How do you turn it off?The headphone nanny thing can be disabled now on my Bose headphones. Thank god.
Sadly the option is not available when using my airpods pro. They hardcoded that the nanny feature is obligatory. Bah. Is there a shortcut to clear headphone data every hour?
I suggest by going to bluetooth settings, selecting your headphones and in the details changing the device type to something other than "headphones". Then the iPhone won't measure the loudness anymore. I didn't test it yet thoughHow do you turn it off?
Yes, there is a shortcut, see:The headphone nanny thing can be disabled now on my Bose headphones. Thank god.

Oh yeah? However, I still have to download using a hotspot on my mack, which is using the eyephone as a router…395 MB on iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Yes this update does not fix any of the major iOS 14 wifi issues. The wifi issues span across all generations of devices from what I can see. I have the issues you are having on my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad Air 2. Flip flops between wifi and lte, and wifi lte. Sometimes things just don't load (spinning wheels) yet my internet connection and my high end networking equipment work fine on all other devices.I'm still having intermittent WiFi connection problems on my iPhone 12 mini - and it has nothing to do with the router itself!
